This posting will be used to fill Auxiliary On Call Positions. Auxiliaries provide coverage for leave of absences, and for short notice vacancies. Please note, as an auxiliary on-call employee there are no guarantee of hours.
It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.
This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon.

Essential qualifications

- Experience with the procurement of goods
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Experience with computer inventory control systems

Conditions of employment
You must meet the following conditions before being hired, or within the time frame noted.
- TB screening, Vulnerable Sector RCMP security clearance, WHMIS 2015, and a valid class 5 driver’s licence, TDG.

This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following:
Exposure to animals in the Pet Therapy Program, exposure to second hand smoke from residents/clients, exposure to plants and/or flowers, exposure to latex products, exposure to outdoor elements, abundance of walking and pushing carts, and heavy lifting.
