This posting will be used to fill one full-time term (until March 31, 2027) anticipatory permanent position working 75 hours bi-weekly. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions. Temporary assignments may be considered, with supervisory approval.

Our team
Reporting to a Clinical Supervisor at Disability Services the Social Worker is responsible for coordinating the delivery of a range of services, including early intervention, and services across the lifespan, to children, youth and adults with disabilities.
Your role
The supports and services provided by Disability Services are intended to support individuals with disabilities to reach their fullest potential, and improve overall quality of life, including promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities in their communities.

Essential qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
- Experience working with adults or children with intellectual or developmental disabilities,
- Experience developing and implementing case plans collaboratively with clients and families,
- Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide therapies and services to children with disabilities.
- Experience working in remote or northern communities, along with demonstrated Indigenous cultural competency, would be considered an asset

Conditions of employment

- Copy of Bachelor of Social Work degree
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- RCMP Vulnerable Sector Security Clearance
- TB screening
- WHMIS 2015
