This opportunity is for a 12-month term position, temporary assignments may be considered.
The position requires working 75 hours biweekly.
The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board (WSCB) administers workplace health and safety and workers’ compensation in the territory. WSCB’s mission is to assist workers and employers in preventing work-related physical and psychological injuries, illnesses and disabilities. The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Information Management and Technology, the Business Technology Manager is responsible for managing the research, development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and technical support of the Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board (WSCB’s) mission critical data network and technology infrastructure.

Essential Qualifications:
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the following qualifications. Please note selection for further consideration will be based on the detailed information you provide in your resume; ensure you use a month/year to month/year format and include the duties you performed in each of your positions.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, information management, cybersecurity, or a related field;
- Significant experience leading a team and supporting staff development and performance through mentoring and collaboration;
- Direct experience and knowledge with virtualization technologies, network security architectures, enterprise server infrastructures, and Microsoft 365 technologies (including Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Intune, and EntraID);
- Experience planning, organizing and managing financial and technical resources;
- Experience managing the execution of technology strategies and implementation plans.;
- Experience with contract evaluation, procurement, and supervising contractors would be an asset;
- Cybersecurity certifications, such as a CEH or CISSP, would be an asset.
Candidates who have significant experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.
