About the branch:
The Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) collaborates with local municipalities, First Nations, federal departments, industry and volunteers to support the development of community emergency plans, enhance emergency management readiness, and build local resiliency and capacity across the Yukon.
EMO’s role is to help coordinate response between multiple government agencies and first responders. If necessary, they can activate the Emergency Coordination Centre, in order to provide further assistance to a municipality, First Nation or an unincorporated community.
About the job:
Reporting to the Director, Yukon Emergency Measures Organization the Office Manager is responsible for senior level administrative, financial and records-management support during routine and emergency operations; being the first point of contact for general and emergency related inquiries; and providing financial, administrative and records management services and activities for the Emergency Measures Organization office.

Essential Qualifications:

- Post-secondary coursework in office administration
- Experience working with databases
- Experience with YG Financial Management Information System (i.e. financial tracking, timesheets, travel claims, procurement, accounts payable and recovery.)
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the above qualifications may be equally considered.
