This competition is for a (1) year term working 75 hours bi-weekly in Whistle Bend Place until September 1, 2027. It will also be used for anticipatory term and permanent full time positions in Continuing Care (Copper Ridge Place, Thomson Centre, & Whistle Bend Place)

We are looking for organized, self-motivated individuals with supervisory experience who are comfortable working independently and building strong working relationships. In this role, you will provide leadership and support to Nursing Home Attendants during your shift while upholding the standards and philosophy of Continuing Care. The position plays a key role in fostering a safe, respectful, and high-quality environment that enhances the well-being and quality of life of residents and clients.
This role requires flexibility, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills. You will work collaboratively with residents, families, and the care team to support individual needs while contributing to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of quality resident care.
As an integral member of the nursing team, you will provide nursing services within the scope of practice of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of residents. You will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans, while working closely with the interdisciplinary team and referring residents for advanced assessment by an RN or NP when required.

Essential Qualifications:
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the following qualifications. - Licensed Practical Nurse certification and current licensure in good standing.
- Recent experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- Recent supervisory experience, including providing leadership, performance management, coaching, and conducting employee performance evaluations.

- Ability to provide professional care for Residents/Clients by promoting their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being
