You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our human resource branch while coaching and mentoring the members in our community of practice while ensuring exemplary principle-based practice. You will provide expertise to complex accommodation, conflict and performance/labour relation and recruitment files, while providing oversight to a full range of human resource practices and services.

Essential Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or other relevant discipline with a focus on Human Resources, or significant recent experience in human resources in the public sector;
- Considerable recent experience leading a range of human resource management services, such as accommodation, recruitment and selection, training and development, and labour relations in a unionized environment; and,
- Recent experience supervising staff and leading teams; including coaching and developing employees preferably in the practice of human resources.
