This is for one (1) term position working 75 hours biweekly until August 31, 2027.
Who we are:
At the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Culture, our mandate is to build a sustainable, competitive, and diverse Yukon economy that enriches the quality of life for all Yukoners. Guided by a shared vision of prosperity, partnerships, and innovation, we advance economic development, support the growth of tourism, and celebrate and promote Yukon’s rich cultural identity. We work collaboratively—including with First Nations —to foster opportunities that benefit communities across the territory and to preserve Yukon’s history and heritage for generations to come.
We support businesses, industries, cultural organizations, and communities by helping them see the big picture, envision Yukon’s future, and find clear paths forward. From advising entrepreneurs and growing key sectors, to promoting Yukon as a world-class travel destination and supporting arts, heritage, and cultural initiatives, we connect people with the resources they need to succeed. This includes helping employers attract and retain the workers they need, strengthening the workforce, and ensuring Yukon’s economy continues to grow and thrive.
